Regenerating our Communities Event, CellB Blaenau Ffestiniog
April 11 @ 10:00 - 12:30
This event will require registration to attend. It’ll be a ‘first come’ basis as they have limited capacity in CellB.
The event will follow on from the Bangor Uni events with the IWA over the past 3 years, and ties in with the event on community ownership held in Ty Gwyrddfai last March. The aim of the event is to bring people together to discuss the ideas, solutions and way forward to regenerate communities in the north. We’re keen to hold two panels with a cross-section of politicians, academics, community activists and those working with communities from different perspectives. We’re offering a provocative title to ignite the debate – with government at the bottom of the ‘pyramid’, and communities on the top. This will lead to a discussion on finance, power, influence, resources etc.
